About the Event

This event will be Anniston Changers' first large-scale community cleanup project. The goal of this organization is to unify our communities through their shared desire to see our city prosper. Anniston Changers is a citizen driven organization, and our organization's success will depend on all those who volunteer in order to accomplish the goal of uplifting our communities!

  • This first large project will take place at the Gateway to West Anniston, Mural Park. We will be engaging in several cleanup projects up-and-down that area of West 15th Street. Volunteers will gather at 8:00 AM on site (1507 Glen Addie Ave, Anniston, AL 36201), and soon after the volunteers will be paired with project leaders for the tasks they signed up for when registering.

  • Waivers will be available for all volunteers on-site, they will also be given out to community leaders and churches to pass out prior to Oct. 17th. Furthermore, we do ask that everyone keep social distancing standards in mind, and know that we will have masks available on-site as well. All volunteers will receive a free Anniston Changers T-Shirt, as well as a free lunch at 12:00 PM, once all our work has been completed!

Our plan is to paint, cut grass, pickup trash, repair decks, paint fire hydrants, replace street lights...and much more! We are so excited to see the impact this organization will have, and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to contact the City of Anniston’s Public Information Officer, Jackson Hodges, any time via call/text at: 256-846-2044!

Thank you!
